Ok, great commentary! I just sit here wondering if she learned her pronunciation of the word nuclear from George Bush!? Drove me nuts the whole debate! Funny how one little thing can be like nails on a chalkboard!
Well, Palin didn’t fall over herself, but then again she really didn’t say anything at all except “You betcha”..bleh. Enough of hokey “Hockey Moms”. The only time she sounded aware was in the first 20 minutes…after which she had blown her whole arsenal.
Oh well, I guess I learned that under McCain and Palin “we can do it”…not sure I learned much more, but I know we can look forward and we can do it.
Tried to get hooked up to see your live comments but you know how it can be with dial-up. I was pleasantly surprised how she did. I think by the standards the media judged Obama with in the first debate, ‘all he needs to do is show up and show people that he can be presidential’, then she certainly exceeded expectations. I will say that the back and forth of ‘you voted for this, no you voted for this’ does get to be a bit tedious. I mean, who’s sitting home with the voting record of 5 years ago in front of them with explanations or why they voted the way they did. Both candidates lean too heavy to the same talking points no matter what the questions are. There were times where it seemed I was watching the other debate all over again.
